Few things inspection related
My security light is on steady in my dash, will it affect the pass/fail outcome? Also I'm tossing around the idea of LTs and duals or just upgrading to an e-cutout. Those of you that have duals, how do you pass inspection?

As per the security light queastion, that will not fail your vehicle.
For the cut out and LT's, just make sure you tune out the rear O2 sensors and make sure the ses light isn't on before you go. Providing the inspector isn't a dick and looks under the car you should pass.

well i won't worry about fixing the sec light then. i knew about the O2's and ses light, that's already done on my car. as far as the dick inspector, had that last year at this shop down the street from my work. called me about 30 min after i dropped it off and said "um yea sorry we can't inspect it, your car has no catalytic converters."
thanks for the quick help!

as mentioned above....just get the emissions codes deleted. I just took mine to a ghetto little tire shop that did inspections.....usually those guys are so amazed by your car they forget they are inspecting it. ha. "yo mann, how many horsepowers you got in dere?"

yea i need LT's for sure, but i'm actually looking at a turbo, so mids may stay in for the time being. my PCM is already tuned with code deletions/masks, so that's not an issue.

As far as the visual inspection goes, find a shop that doesn't have a lift/in ground bay. Usually without these, they won't get on their hands/knees to look under your car. Not saying they won't but your odds are better. That's how mine passed with LT's, off-road Y, e-cutout on stock catback.
