Default How Much Will Changing Rear End Affect Wheel Fitment?

I currently run a 10 bolt and am going to a set of 18 x 9.5 Z06 replicas for the front and 18 x 10.5 for the rear. I plan on going to the Midwest Chassis fabbed 9" rear in the late fall, how much will this rear affect the wheel fitment? If at all.

if it is the same length as stock, then i won't at all, but if it is narrowed you will need a different offset wheel

You can order them stock width or narrowed. If you stay with the stock width your wheel fitment will remain the same.

so if you narrow the rear by 1" on both sides, that would allow you to run 1" wider rims, but how could you find out what offset you would have to look for? im getting a MWC 9" as well but im gonna try and stick some 19x12's in the back.

it doesn't necessarily mean you can run a wider wheel, you are still limited to the stock wheel tube space, it means you can subtract an inch of offset, for example a weld 15x8 on a stock rear requires a 5.5" back spacing, with a narrowed rear 1" will need a 4.5" backspacing, i think i just said that right ha ha
