Default Clicking noise...

Anyone ever have their emission canister purge solonoid emit really loud clicking noise? This solonoid is on the driver side of the intake manifold right on top of the fuel rail; it has a vapor line going into one side and coming out the other side alond with an electrical connection. It says DELPHI 1997278 right on top of it and its black. My Z28 was doing this last night; it was so loud I could hear it 30ft away, with the hood down and obviously the motor was running; I was behind the car too. I don't know if this is normal but I have never noticed that before.

Probably is the EVAP. Unplug the solenoid & see if it stops. There were some recent posts about this, but I could only find this one in a search - read page 2.
