Default H/C/E/I and tuning in a 2000 LS1 vette

The car is a 6 speed, has headers and catback, intake, not sure of what heads and cam but lets say some off the shelf parts. It will be tuned and running 93. Can that kinda setup put down 500 rwhp?

500rwhp on pump gas is a very hard thing to accomplish. Most of the 500rwhp cars have valve reliefs & are pushing a lot of compression for 93 octane. There's lots of great combos that can get you to the 480-500 rwhp range. You might checkout the PRC 215 heads, there's been several guys with really good results using them on stock piston cars.

We're working on a more aggressive version of the PRC cylinder head for stock bore applications. With larger camshafts it'll require valve reliefs. Look for engine dyno & install results very soon!!!

That kit is rated at the flywheel. Subtract 15% for drivetrain loss and that puts him 425ish rwhp.

you will need tfs 215 milled to bump your c/r to mid upper 11's.....a cam in the upper 230's, a ported fast 92, yella terra ultra lights... ported ls2, meziere, underdrive pulley....ECS has a package that has topped 500 rwhp in a 342 cube vette...also vette dr's has done it with a similar package....IT WONT BE CHEAP.....parts alone will be 8k+ not including labor....look at my set up.....i have a 383 but everything was selected to maximize hp and torque...
