Default G2 lowering springs?

Does anyone have the G2 springs from LG Motorsports, and how do you like them? I'd like to lower my z28 and these look pretty good. Also did you have to use relocation brackets? Thanks for the help.

From what I've heard, they are very good springs. However, you may want to look elsewhere for a set. LG has been sold out for months, and Lou said at the earliest it may be next spring before he thinks about ordering some more.

I replaced Eibach Pros with them.

Best move I ever made, suspension-wise.

I noticed a set for sale in the road racing section of this site.

Ok the guy in the road racing section says they're sold. Is there any place else I can get them? Or should I just go with another brand?

Any other spring is gonna be a compromise.

But that is all you have, I guess.

I guess I'll just wait. I don't like to compromise.

Send a PM to Josh99TA. I was setup to buy his used G2 Springs off him, but had to bail out. I need more clearance for my LTs. I'm not sure if he's sold them yet, but it's definately worth a shot. Just tell him I told you about them, he got a 2" drop all the way around I believe.

If you want to wait another year for G2s to come in thats your business.

I went another route (very much comparable to) above mentioned springs, and guess what, they were in stock lol. G2s are not ethereal, and I'm not about to wait that long (when we're not even sure they will ever get ordered)

And Mitch is bias when it comes to any other company besides LG (I'm beginning to wonder if he's on their payroll).

Hehe just f*ing with ya M.

Not on the payroll, but I oughta be.

After going through Eibach, Hotchkis, Spohn, BMR parts and tons of cash, I really hate to see folks waste their hard earned dollars like I did.

When you find something that freaking works as designed, lasts as promised and fits like factory, it's tough to see all of you making the same mistakes I did.

Josh99TA said I was on the waiting list. He got a 2" drop with the things? Wow, I didn't think it would be that much. I'll shoot him a PM anyways.

You guys are funny BlakeSS and mitchntx. I just want to get the best parts I can for what I want to do. I don't have the funds to be trying out different stuff. The G2s seem to fit what I want. If there is something comparable I'll check it out, but if not I can wait. I'm not to impatient.

Well Mitch is a well known auto-Xer, and has tried many different makes and models of suspension components. I don't doubt his experience and as I said I was just messing with him.

The thing about it is though... if you go all out on one specific brand of suspension stuff, it makes it real tough to try somebody else without buying all new components.

For example, the LG tunnel brace would not fit with my BMR torque arm. Also, the LG control arms do not fit well with my BMR relocation brackets.

The solution? Do a complete parts switch, which as Mitch said, can get quite expensive. That's why I decided to stick with all BMR/Eibach stuff. I don't auto-x or race at the strip, so hopefully itll last me a good while

My current set up is as follows.
Bilstein Hd's, LGM Hypercoils ( approx 1.5 in drop), LGM Sways (front /rear), LGM Adj. PHR, BMR LCA's, BMR SFC's....
Car is driven daily & i "personally" could not ask for a nicer driving vehicle.... except maybe a Z06! (Next year)!
My .02.......FWIW.

How do you like the HDs with your Hypercoils? I am seriously considering these, but I dont want the ride to be bone jarring

Yeah their not on the website. Hypercoil discontinued that particular spring and LG bought a bunch of them to sell, Its what they used to sell before they came up with their own spring rates for the G2's, call em up and see if they still have them.

Jason, the ride is not bone jarring @ all.
the car rides very smooth 7 looks awesome.

LGM has the Super Springs now, don't think they can get hold of the Hypercoils as they have went out of buisness.
Basically the exact same as the super spring.
According to louis...

Do you need to get relocation brackets with the super springs?
