Just curious cause there are alot of high tech thieves here in Miami.I've heard stories of people scanning certain alarms. I'm gonna install mercury sensors(tilt sensors).I'm stuck between a clifford or a viper alarm.

viper 5900 alarm with remote start + automatic window control, piezo siren in the interior, one standard siren under the hood, one near the rear-end, and mercury tilt sensor on the hood. Its a great alarm and they aren't too hard to install if you take your time and have some electrical knowledge. The can be picked up on ebay for pretty cheap. If you want a write-up to help guide you though the install then google "brent franker alarm install"

Locate the unit somewhere hard to find when you install it. Keep in mind that if you do it yourself, the warranty will be void.
