Suspension & Brakes - when is the stock torque arm not enough?

I have an 01 camaro putting down 700 rwhp. When will the stock torque arm give out or what is its limit? i have heard of people snapping them.

Are you drag racing alot? Or is it mainly a street car? I would think it has alot to do with what your doing with the car. Ed wright for example has been into the 9s on a stock torque arm. However with your power level and dependent on what sort of sticky tires your running you may be at the outer limit. I would recommend an aftermarked one for peace of mind, but thats up to you.
