Around a 150 shot. A lot of guys do the 150 with good luck. Me personally, I wouldn't go more then 100...just me though. It's one of those things where you never really know. If it's gonna go it's gonna go. I would look into the Nitrous Outlets wet plate set up if you do spray.

yeah, i wasnt thinking about going bigger than a 100. i want to test out a 75 shot and see how it feels. i heard about nitrous outlet, just moved out here to fort worth and the car isnt driveable cause its on an open exhaust and no insurance or registration. lol. first time using nitrous. seems like the cheapest way to make hp right now. lol

That's what a lot of guys do, spray the 75 on the dyno and see how the car runs then work your way up. Nitrous Outlet has complete packages they offer. You might also want to consider a new fuel pump if you spray as well. The Racetronix is a good brand. This is the bad boy right here: http://www.nitrousoutlet.com/catalog...roduct_id=2809

lol, i know. i have a little grudge thing going on in california with a couple of people who think they know how to build fast motors or just get lucky and buy cars that already came hooked up. bought my car stock 5 years ago and have done little things to it. i live in fort worth now and gonna go back with the 355 on some juice and show them how to really build a motor. already got a 383 in mind and a bolt on nitrous ls1. lol

its a fully home built 383 on crappy *** edelbrock heads and edelbrock lt1 manifold on like a 150 shot. ran like a mid to high 11. ls1 is full bolt on with like a 125 shot, and no internal work

Don't run a dry shot, you really don't need a fancy high $$$$ kit, the basic 360.00 Nitrous Outlet Brand-X & a heater/window switch is all you need, along with a new pump for insurance & also a tune, if you look in the Sales section, you can come across a good kit for cheap, i got an NX big-shot kit, came with NX heater, purge, blowdown tube, FFSS, & other stuff for 400.00 bucks.
As for what they will handle, theres no real answer, but to play it safe, a 100 shot is just fine, even a 125, run some TR6s gapped @ .035", don't know what mine ran after the new clutch & N2o tune NA, but on just 100 shot it ran 12.01 @ 115.06 on the 3rd. run with a 1.80 60ft., the car was piggish off the bottle with the tune it had, so i'm sure it didn't run any better then say 13.3s @ maybe 102-103, & i know there was an 11.8 in it, so you see the gains that can be had with just a 100 shot, i though of pilling it up to 125, but it was running too good so i left it.
