Question lt1 t56 to ls1 t56

I have lookin on here i found all info i need but theres one thing i am not getting. When i swap the input shaft and mid plate over to the lt trans. What esle should be done?

I know that but should i be checking endplay on input shaft? if so, is there way to check it?

Oh sorry, misunderstood ya. Sure, check endplay, but more than likely will be spot on. You can do it by feel if you want, no need for a gauge.

thanks, well i am going check to see if bearing needs replacement and the race also.
