yea i know, 650-700 is my goal but until I have the funds to build my bottom end I will keep the hp around 550 or so, I just wanted to know what head and cam package to go with, that way when I build my bottom end my setup will be ready for it.....what is a good cam for my goals?

For a stock bottom end, I'd recommend a set of stock 317 or 035 heads (same thing), a double spring like patriot golds with hardened pushrods, and a comp SC2 cam from speed inc, or the blower cam EPP sells. Those combined with a D1 kit with the larger filter EPP sells and a good exhaust with headers should get you in the 500~550 range with a conservative tune at ~8psi. Don't get greedy with the boost. You may make the number you want with a lower boost# if you have a good exhaust. The stock pistons are good for a certain amount of HP, not any certain amount of boost pressure, so keep that in mind.

I'm going to run the stock heads and stock long block, ls6 springs and 60's with 110k on the d1, 4.5" pulley and fmic. I wouldnt recommend it but I don't feel like changing them at the moment. It should be fine with low timing and meth. I will switch to e85 once I get a second pump
