Default Mounting bottle in Vette Coupe HSWs Billet BB too tall?

I have the standard bottle brackets that came with my HSWs kit. They fit perfect in the back of the Vette and the Targa top fits without a hitch, problem is, the standard bottle brackets scratch the hell out of the paint on the bottles. So to battle this issue I purchased the Billet BB from HSWs.
Problem is its too tall now will hit the top no matter where I put it???
Only possible spot is to turn it Left to right instead of front to back. I know this is not Ideal but the Nano should make up for the bad spot, or so im hoping?????
Any suggestions or comments are greatly appreciated

In order to Put the top in you are limited to what bottle brackets you can use. We did a dual bottle set up in a C6 for Vette Magazine. We used our Billet bottle bracket/ heater combo and it was a perfect fit. You could still place the top in with no issues and there was plenty of clearence.

If you want to purchase one to see if it will work for what you are looking for I will let you return it if it does not work. Just make sure that its still in like new resaleable condition.
Thanks
Dave

Rotating it left to right instead of front to back is no issue what so ever. Just make sure the dip tube is rotated slightly so that its pointed down and to the rear of the vehicle. I have one of these brackets mounted in our C6 and I will try and snap a few pics today.
