Z28 is becoming Harder to start...Starter?
My LS1 just hit 82K miles. When I go to start the car it doesnt start up as immediately as it did a couple days ago. It seems like the engine turns over just as quick as it did but i have to hold the key a tad bit longer...Anyone know what my issue is?

yea..i was kinda driving like a jackass a couple days ago because i was running late. i get a misfire on cylinder 4 occassionally like every couple months but it did come on a couple days ago as well...i changed my plugs and wires last year and coil pack. Maybe i need a fuel injection service?

If you have any aftermarket stereo equipment in your car I'd go with a red-top Optima, if you like to use your stereo a lot with the engine off go with a yellow-top, finally if its your DD and you have no aftermarket stereo or no plans for one go with a die hard or duralast from your favorite auto parts store.

If you decide to get a new battery, may I suggest an Optima Red Top.
Best battery I've ever had... and I've used many including AC Delco, Interstate, Die Hard and Exide.

+1 on the Optima per the reasons above. I have a yellow top and its been in 3 different vehicles going on about 6 or 7 years. Best battery ever. No leaks and I've drained it completely 2 or 3 times.
