Default The Z06 Spyder wheels on a 98 Camaro

I was looking on Ebay trying to get an idea for wheels for my Camaro. I saw these and they caught my eye, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Chrom...1%7C240%3A1318 I would to not run the staggered diameter wheels. Does anyone know anything about these and if there is anywhere to get them from that offers them that will fit and will be the same diameter at 18" I would like to run maybe a 9.5 up front and a 12 in the back. If this aren't available I will look for something else I guess, maybe a CCW or Fiske. Thanks for the help

Check out my site, I can get those wheels in F-Body sizes. I just ordered a set for my car. Competition Grey and 18x9.5" in front and 19x10" in the back. 11" will barely fit and 12" means your're cutting stuff...

what offset for the 19x10? i would like some that will sit flush with the body with no modifying beyond rolling the fenders.

56mm. I would be just like putting C6 wheels on, you would need a 5/16 spacer (I have that on my car now with stock studs) to totally close the gap...

Hey there 6LE... any chance you can get the Spyders in black as well? At those prices, i'd be interested in a set for my black 99 SS!

Well, it has been a LONG day but I finally got the wheels (fronts at least, pick up the rears tomorrow) mounted with some pics.

Not the best pics, I went to the mall to get "6LE" decals made so I snapped a few before I went in and a few afterwards. These rims are NIGHT AND DAY compared to the old ones.

If you want to "modernize your muscle" talk to me about a set, I'm a dealer of these and other Vette style rims for F-Bodies

I posted all the pics (too many to post here, there is a limit) here:

Here's some teasers...

A shot comparing old style Z06 wheels to the new ones...

damn, those are hot. best wheels on an f-body right now, without a doubt. I noticed these at a chevy dealership last week and thought to myself they would look great on an f-body, and look what you did !

any idea on the weight per size?

spacers over 3/16" on stock studs is not safe. Upgrade to arp studs

You can do all 17's, 17/18, all 18's, 18/19...

I am just trying to figure out what would look best on a T/A- size wise. I don't know if the 19's would look too big.

I am leaning towards a 17's up front with the 18's out back, or 18's up front and 19's out back.

Mike - I have thrown this around quite a bit. 6LE and I had this discussion the other night, and IMO the 19's would look great on a T/A, I still would like to do these in 19's on the camaro, but I think the 18's will have a cleaner look to them. Your car would def. pull off the 19's and look absolutely sick.

To be honest, these rims (because the spokes extend to the lips) look like 19's and they are 18's. I think a 19 would look like a 20. I mean just look at this pic where it is a 18 on the front AND on the back and you'll see what I mean when I say they just look bigger...

Not to mention the 19's are even available for our offset yet. They list them, I have prices for them but there is no ETA

Chris- go to bed. haha

I think they would look good in a 19 in the rear. But tire choices are slim, and expensive. I will wait and see when they do come out in the 19's and make my decision then I guess.
