Default WTB:2000 Camaro Z28-Need Opinions!!HELP

I want to buy a 2000 Camaro Z28 from a guy here in my town. The car has 130k miles and its a nice looking car. He is asking $5K. Is it worth to buy this car? Heres the problem...The guy selling it is some stupid kid and hes always racing the poor car. Like most of the people that drag race here only do it on weekends but this kid does it every day. Ive been waiting for the title and i was wondering are these LS1 engines really built to take that kind of raggin on? If i bought the car are there any possibilities that the engine could blow like spin a bearing or break a rod etc.? It does have high miles but at 5K im thinking its a good deal...If someone can give me thier opinion on this i would surely appreciate it. Thank You and by the way im lookin for a 98-2002 Camaro z28 or SS any where under 7K incase that 2000 Z deal doesnt go through. Also This kid changes his mind alot like one day he will say man this things a beast i dont know if ill sell it anymore(This usually happens after he has beat a really fast car) Then after his excitement goes aaway he like hey u still want the car? To be honest i want to tell him to keep his fu***** car but for the sake of the Z and the love i have for these cars i think it deserves a better owner...Some one like me

My brother just bought a 2001 z28 with 194,000 miles on it for 5K. He replaced the plugs, and head gaskets himself and runs great. Took it to the track and ran a 13.1 with just a lid. These engines are great and take a beating and keep kicking. for five grand I would take it.
