Default A/c question

My AC hasnt worked in years, ever since i replaced my cd player. I have decided to fix it. I removed the cd player and a random black wire is cut, i cant find the other end of it, where might this go. Here is the problem I am having:

When I cut my AC on no matter which position and which setting hott/cold or speed the air comes out at the AC blows out the top and floor board only warm air. I have tried charging it, no joy. Also, I think there is a ground in my car cause if i dont crank it up after a week it is dead. Any help? Thanks

i am told that is a vaccum issue, like a hose is disconnected. sounds like a simple fix. 2 cars around here have the same issue, one being mine that i have never tried or had time to fix.

Check to see if the small "T" fitting is plugged in and not cracked. Its near the PCM under the hood. Its little, like the size of cocktail straws. Black in color.

Where is the end of the black wire connected. The end you can see? My guess is you cut the ground to your AC controls.

the wire is right below the Stock CD Player. It is probably a 18 gauge wire, really thin.

I'll take a quick look tonight at the wiring schematics but I bet you cut the ground to your HVAC controls. It could be that you have a vacuum issue also. Have you checked your vacuum connections?

Too bad you're not stationed at Ft Meade I'd take a look myself.

Sorry it took me so long to get back. We've been doing renovations and a lot of stuff is in storage. I can't find the manuals but will keep on looking.

I'm pretty sure that black wire is a ground to your AC control module or whatever they call it. Too much of a coincidence with this happening after fiddling around back there. Do you have a mechanics mirror? If so take out your deck and bezal and look around behind your ac controls.
