5.3/4l60e/np208 lots of questions???? Im getting ready to start the 5.3 swap into a blazer. I want to run a 4l60e and my factory np208 transfer case...However i wont have a way to run a vss becasue my transfer case is a cable driven speedo....How do i get it to work? I want to run the 4l60e because my motor is a 2005 with drive by wire.
Questions:
1. How do i make the vss work correctly?
2. Do i have to do modifications to the vss for my tire size and gear ratio?
3. Would it just be easier to switch to a DBC throttle body? and if so could i still use the DBW wire harness?
4. What are the 4 or 5 wires in the harness that i need to make the motor run? I have the full gas pedal assembly with computer mounted to it.
