MAF stuck on stock lid

Default MAF stuck on stock lid

How do I get it off, I'm about to hack saw it because it's pissing me off.

Any suggestions before I tear this **** apart?

use a hair dryer to heat the plastic up and it should slip off. be patient.

yeah, just put your moms blow drier on it, on hot, for a couple of minutes...the plastic will expand and come off easier. That's how you get it back into the SLP lid too.

I'm not allowed to have a hair drier?! Lol. And thanks yeah, needed to do it to get it on the SLP lid too.

I just put my lid (the neck) in boiling water 4 a minute or so and it slipped EASILY back on to the MAF.

I used a hairdryer to get it OFF the MAF. Of course when it was time to put the damn thing back together, the plastic neck had cooled and shrunk to its normal size. Then I put the neck in boiling water to get it BACK ON the MAF.

HOW TO SEPARATE LID AND MAF

Required:
(1) Friend w/ two functioning arms
(1) Can of WD-40

Steps:

The better question for the TS is: How do you have 1,400 posts and still have the stock lid?

Just giving you crap. The Berger panel looks good on your car. You NEED rims though.
