Default mcleod street twin ?s

hey i need some help especially if there's a sponsor from mcleod. im about to buy a street twin from someone on another forum for my lt1. he said it was installed and driven once but the thowout bearing is bad. should i buy a new pressure plate for it or just hav the bearing replaced. also being driven once do i really need to have the flywheel resurfaced? thanks for any help guys.

the pressure plate should be fine, unless the bad throwout bearing damaged the fingers on the pressure plate (abnormal wear) The throwout bearing has nothing to do with mcleod. Its a gm part. assuming its a push type not pull type

-definitely buy a new throwout bearing, unless your current on is good.
-flywheel should be fine, is the once used flywheel included or are you using your existing flywheel?

everythings included i figured the flywheel was fine without resurfacing but he said if i get a new pressure plate and resurfaced flywheel that it'd be a brand new clutch. but i figured that all id need is a throwout bearing if thats all that was wrong.

you should be fine with just a new throwout bearing.

be sure to inspect the pressure plate, friction plates and flywheel for abusive wear, heat marks, cracks etc...
