im trying to get my kooks 1 7/8 w/ ory with an electric cut out and i need just a couple stainless steel mendrel bends for my cme exhaust connections.
should i get high flow cats installed?

man, just gotta find a shop that specializes in performance vehicles.
if you cant find one of those in your area, worst case scenario, take the plates off the car, find a friend with a trailer and tell the exhaust shop its not a street car anymore so they cant bitch about getting 'caught' doing 'illegal exhaust work'
i've never understood how they can get in trouble anyways... you're a customer, and you're paying them to do work. its your vehicle, so i dont see why they care what you do with it.

i don't want to be loud all the time just when im only gettin on it ya know what i mean. i have the magnaflow catback 3 in 2.5" out through cme. do you think ill be fine? i don't have a heads and cam yet but i only want to do it once. i have a feeling if i don't put a resonator in the i pipe then when i get heads and cam it's going to be too much.
i know it will be alright with the magnaflow catback for now but i wanna be ready for the future when i put a cam in it in a few months.

why thicker? i forgot to what the thicker material does. i remember talking to someone about stainless steel thickness and the type of stainless but i don't remember.
i would think going with a thicker exhaust would weigh more and dissipate heat a lot slower.
anyways... start your own thread that's a totally different subject with no regards to mine!
