Do i have to lube my Procharger idler pulley or stock idler pullyey

Default Do i have to lube my Procharger idler pulley or stock idler pullyey

Ok I was doing work on car and engine today. There is a sound coming from i think is the procharger idler pulley not sure. Trying to find ways to pin point it. Sounds kind like a dry bearing not broken or loose. maybe a little bit of a screeching sound very litttle

sounds like the idler for the stock accessory drive just behind the J bracket. Remove the procharger belt and see if the noise is still in that area.

Make sure the tensioner pulley isn't rubbing on the bracket; the belt may have become too lose and caused the tensioner to drop below where it should.

My bearings went south, I just went to my local bearing shop and replaced them, very easy, just need snap ring pliers..

where could I go to get a new bearing for the tensioner pully, or could you e-mail me the number to the place you got yours. thanks Ernie

Dont know where you are located but I am in Texas and I went to what is called Purvis Bearings, I'm sure if you go to your local bearing shop they can match it up..
