I have an A4 with just a little more power N/A and I have destroyed 4 10-bolts now in about 5 months. Yes a few were with spray at the track and 10sec runs. LOL. The last one never saw the track and only had street tires on it not DR's. I very rarely got on it in first (due to tire spin) but second was another story and it still spun a lot. The one in it now is going the same way the last on did with only second and higher gear runs. The 12-bolt will be in and buttoned up in the morning.

Good luck.

Mine has survived so far. It is still quiet as a mouse. Just dont do any clutch dumps. or hight rpm launches. My 9" is going in this week.

my 10-bolt lasted just over 125 1/4 mile launches. . . . lasted, past tense. 10-bolts break. I've read of them breaking on the street during NORMAL driving and I've seen them go 10s. No predictability other than eventually, they all break, except the ones that sit in garages. Have fun with it, but expect to replace it.
