which heads, 317s or 241s for an LQ9!

Default which heads, 317s or 241s for an LQ9!

So out of these to heads which would you have milled, ported & polished for an LQ9.
It will have an ms3 cam,headers and other bolt ons.

LQ9 have flat top pistons so I would be very carefull about milling. If your goal is to increase compression, fully ported unmilled (just .003 cleanup) either 243s or 241s).
Contact TSP and discuss this with them is my advice IMO.
Note: fitting and proper PTV clearance are 2 different things.

Go.

I would contact TSP like Predator said, Maybe those TSP 2.5's could get you up in some serious compression area for nice power gains. I would look into there PRC 2.5's. I was going to do head work on my 241's I had and after porting and polishing it would have only been 200 bucks more and I would have a new casting andfull built valvetrain.
But if you cant buy the PRC 2.5's I would go with the 241's, a good flowing head unless you can get your hands on a 243.
