Default gt45r vs turbonetics vs precision??

had some conflicting emails regarding all these units...

what do people think about it? on a forged 347 aiming for some good hp etc...

i was sold on a tc78mm, but got offered a gt45r

Compressor:
-Wheel: 108.0mm exd./80.8mm ind w/ 56 trim
-Housing A/R: .69 A/R
-Housing Style: 6" inlet anti-surge, 3.5" outlet

Turbine / Exhaust:
-Wheel: 87.0mm w/ 85 trim
-Housing A/R: Your Pick of 1.01, 1.15, 1.28, or 1.44 A/R
-Housing Style: T4 w/ 5" v-band exit.

whats peoples thoughts? compared to the tc78 or pt74 76 78gts?

The GT45R will perform similar to the 78mm Precision and Turbonetics, but make a bit more power in the high end.

if you can fit it and the price is right id do it. a tc78 unit is tiny in physical size compared to a gt45

The GT45R's we use quite often, but have you looked at the size of one?? You can fit two TC78's where 1 GT45 goes. GT45 weighs around 50lbs, the TC weighs less then half that.
