Default air/fuel ratio gauge

How do you hook up an air/fuel ratio gauge. I bought a triple gauge pod for my a-pillar, and was wondering how? Its not a wide band gauge.

not even worth hooking up IMO

I would strongly suggest getting a wide band gauge to actual have something useful.

AEM or Autometer both have nice gauges

We use the AEM most and it's much cheaper then the Autometer.

Factory fuel injection varies AFR above and below 14.7 so it can see O2 sensor activity and know they are working. What this means is that when you try and use a narrowband "gauge" on a fuel injected car all you get is flashing lights. So it is not just useless it is a potential distraction and definite eye sore.

I would have to agree with this statement. When i just installed a AFR gauge it was fine at idle but once i got past 45mph it would jump back and forth and it really bothered the hell out of me. Needless to say the gauge was unplugged last time i drove the car on the highway for a good while.

Just wait and get a wideband AFR gauge like everyone else has told you. It is NOT worth the waste of money for the gauge.

if you really want to hook it up. Plug the positive to an ignition power, ground to a good ground, and the sensor wire just ties into one of the O2 sensor wires.
