Yes you will have to swap tail housing and the linkage shaft both pretty easy but other than that its a bolt in.

Theres nothing wrong with doing the swap if the 65e is good its a tiny bit stronger than the 4l60e in stock form. If your asking will it handle alot more power than the 60e , IMO not really.

No dimesionally , electrically and functionally its the same and will work perfectly just like the 60e before it.
