This one isn't. I could tell by the picture of the engine bay. LT4s have a red manifold. That's how you can tell, assuming the owner doesn't paint the LT1 manifold the same color as the LT4 which does happen.

Nice a nice car. My step dad has a 30th Ann. SS, but it has like 85k on it instead of 6xx miles haha. Its still in great shape though, he is slowly restoring it to be in like excellent condition though. He's got the 35th LE SS (6,5xx miles) and the 5th gen on order to keep the miles down on though.

Correct, would have had to been like one of the 20some-thing Firehawks SLP built with an LT4, unless some one actually swapped in an LT4 after the fact. Up until the late 90s maybe 00, you could still get LT4 crate motors before they were discontinued. Some one on CZ28.com had a LT4 swap in his black 95? Trans Am, I remember the car had Texas A&M License plates.

Consider the miles on it and the fact its a 30th....18k is not that bad of a price. I mean how often do you come across this car in this condition? A LT1 SS in general is hard to come across.

The LT1 SS cars are some what sought after, to the average enthusiast that car is just not worth the money because they are going to want to modify it. They are looking bang for the buck etc, so a 150K mile 98 Z28 for $4500 does the trick. But for some one who wants a ultra low mile car, that is some what rare, has some signifigance to the car lines history to take to Super Chevy or similar, that car is perfect. You also have to consider for a "collectable" car, the entry cost isn't as high, keep in mind a real LT4 car with those miles would be easily twice the price of this car. Whats a similar shape numbers matching 1st or 2nd gen SS selling for these days.
