Right side of the steering columb.

Little black cylindrical looking thing about 3/4" tall. Pull it out to turn them on, puch it back in to turn them off.

The hazard is on the left. I did the same thing trust me it is on the right side. It is tucked behind some stuff. You won't see it hanging there it is behind a pannel.

I'm not sure on the LT1 cars, but on my car it was on the right side of the steering column. It is hiding very well, but it is a rectangle shape and is clipped to a brace under the dash. I hope that helps you.

Da'hell are you guys talking about.

I have a 1998 Trans Am, the HAZARDS are right under the ingnition where the key goes. It even says "HAZARDS" on it.

Right there in plain site. not hiding at all.

Correction. Push it in for "on", pull to turn off.

its on the right side, under the kick panel...its clipped behind the metal frame, so you wont really see it...you are talking about the hazards on-off button. They are talking about the flasher unit (which causes the turn signals to blink)...you have to remove the trim piece to access it.
Sorry I don't have a picture of it, maybe someone else does.

You know what, I think I might have lied to you. I want to say the original flasher was round and silver. I had to change mine because I have sequential tail lights. Anyways, I took a picture for you! It will be around there, look for that clip my finger is pointing at. You may have to Crocodile Hunter that ****, but its there.
