Do I need a window switch if I have an a4 and why?

You don't need one but it can help. If the trans shifts while you are spraying there is obviously more stress on it. If you have a window switch that shuts of a few hundre RPM before the shift point, it could prolong the life of your trans a bit. So basically, if you are on a stock tranny it wouldnt be a bad idea.

Also, pieces like our microedge controller do a lot more then just function as a window switch. So, you are getting quite a few features along with it.

What he said and also if you hit the rev limiter on nitrous it could cause some problems as well.

IMO a window switch is a must.

I run the microedge window switch with my A4. There has been times where I have lost traction and the car hit the rev limiter. Do not want to do that when you are spraying. Like Mike@hsw said, the microedge has a lot of features.

ok thank yall im deff gonna get one before i spray, i also will have to get some new sark plugs... thanks for the help
