A/C Question...
I've done a lot of searching and just haven't really found exactly what I was looking for.....
My A/C is not working. When I jump the low pressure switch (The plug by the passenger strut area) the fans kick on, but the compressor does not engage. I've not switched out the relays, but im not sure if this would make a difference or not? Is there anything else I can do to ensure the compressor is working or not?

If you have a bad relay, switching will show you that most likely. Not really a good idea to run the compressor if there is no refrigerant in the system. Do you know if you have a leak, or if there is any refrigerant at all in the system?

I just picked up the car so im not real sure. I hooked up a basic recharge kit and it shows pressure in the system so im thinking it has a certain level of coolant in it but I can't be certain how much. The gauge shows around 45 psi on the low side.
