Default Y pipe for sts

hey guys ive been doing a little research and it looks like a lot of you are using the bassani y pipe, im looking at BX57982 it says 2 1/2 diamater at the y and a 3" leg so does that mean after the Y pipe it goes to 3"? and i was also looking on ws6 store they have a mac ory 2.5" for way cheaper. are any of you using that? here it is http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...oducts_id=1098

let me know what you sts guys are running. and just switiched back to stock manifolds.

the MAC Y works, I ran it on mine for about 8 months... just have it wrapped with exhaust wrap and hold on for the boost!

3 necessary things for an STS set up IMO

1. factory manifolds ( I had mine coated and bored)
2. wrap exhaust from end of collector to turbo with DEI exhaust wrapp
3. don't use the over-the-axle pipe, use a long thick silicone piece.

again, this is my opinion and I ran an STS for almost 3 years. I'm now switching to KYTP front mount... good luck

EDIT: that cam looks VERY similar to mine. as a matter of fact, Billy the (former) TRT owner had a 228/228 .581 .581 @ 115 and it worked out amazing for me. In fact, its going in my 370 build
