Single Digit Club - 9 sec stock long block 6 speed car

has any one ever hurd of a full interior with ac, street driven 3600 lb f body, whith a 2001 stock long block, only mods are cam, 2in to 3 1/2 headers, intake and 250hp worth of gas, and a stock 6 speed. going in the 9s

and by stock long block i mean heads have never been off the motor, just a cam, good set of long tubes, carb intake with fuel injection and a plate kit jeted at 250

car has a 9in rear end and a set of 28 10.5 on it

full bolt ons with a big cam and a spot on tune plus a 250 shot i dont think thats too hard to believe if the car can leave hard. check out "the fastest" list on here

I believe it. I seen it happen! The funny thing is the car used to have a th350 automatic and was SLOWER. Swapped to the 6 speed and it go's faster????

if it would have quit layiing the fins over in the converter because someone told the converter man that it was only going to have 125 on it, it might have gone faster lol. but with 300 on it the poor converter kept giving up the ghost.........:nod:
