Rear Engine Combo, LS1 & Audi 01E 6spd Would a LS1 mated to a Audi 6spd manual 01e transmission, in a REAR ENGINE situation turn the correct direction? I am looking for an alternative to the overpriced porsche G50 trans, for a rear engine project. The audi trans is normally mounted to the motor in S4 and A6 cars, so it would be turned around backwards in this application. I believe the normal rotation of the audi motor is clockwise, but I havent been able to verify that.
