port and polished heads so my friend who just got done an automitive school offered to port and polish my stock ls1 heads. what gains if any could i see?

i wouldn't let anyone touch my heads unless they were very experienced with ls1/ls6 style heads. but a good port can get you anywhere from 10-30 rwhp depending on your mods.

ya if they are just sitting around collecting dust junk heads why not. Some people have made very impressive (450+RWHP) with P+P 241's.
If your still using them why don't you pick up a set of 241's for 150 bucks and let him have at, then compare them on a flow bench.
