Just loss some weight woohoo!......The car... not me
I just took my TTM's off and put on some Billet streetlites with Hoosier skinnies and drags. I also removed the front sway bar for going into track mode. Here is what everything weighed.
Stock wheels w/tires 217 lbs
Billet Streetlites w/tires 92 lbs
Front Hotchkis sway bar and end links 25 lbs
I ended up knocking 150 lbs of total weight off the car from doing that. 85 of those pounds were on the front end. In the future I will be putting a tubular k-member in the car to shed more weight and some light weight carpet.
The next thing is to attack the suspension. I have been looking at Strange for the front and Afco coilovers for the back.

15x4 w/1.625 backspacing minimal grinding on the front calipers (it took 3 passes of the grinder). On the back, 15x10 and they are the f-body specific rims with a 7.5 backspacing. The front runners are 26" tall and the rear tires I chose to go with 26x10x15 on the rear

I am tring to upload pics but they keep coming out small on here. I will figure it out in a bit.
I got the car scaled last night and installed my BMR adjustable rear anti-roll bar. We adjusted the preload in the bar and all.
The car ended up weighing 3425 with a half a tank and no driver. With the driver it was 3565.

Well the guy I took it to to get scaled is a suspension tuner and he wants me to try it just like that, then make adjustments from there. The car had 940lbs on pass. front tire and 990 on the driver front tire and when we put the driver in it knocked the back out of whack and we had to adjust the anti-roll bar to balance it out and we ended up with 813 lbs over the rear tires. Before we adjusted the rear bar we had about 140 lbs of disparity on the driver rear.
If there is more left to playing with the suspension he will let me know, but I have already told him about putting Strange coilovers up front and Afco coilovers in the rear to get more adjustability in the setup. He has told me hold off ordering it until we see what the car does.
I know your car hooks and runs just like I want this car to do. Do you think 150 lbs in the rear bumper will help me hook better or putting the aftermarket setup I just mentioned to get the right weight transfer?

If you have an adjustable anti roll, one of the links should of never been hooked up when you were on the scales until the suspension was completely setup.
whats the front weight percentage of the car, how much power is the car making and what type of rear suspension components are you running?

I didn't get a good look at the percentages on the scale but if you do the math with the weights I posted above it should be around 51/49 or 52/48.
I haven't brought the car to the dyno yet to get it retuned and see what kind of power it is making. It ran 11.85 at 118 w/1.7 60ft. It was spinning out of the hole about 20 ft. This it with ET Streets on the rear and the TTM's on the front and the front sway bar was on. This is also with the tune thats on the car right now that I think that is crap.
The rear suspension has BMR adj. LCA's, BMR adj. torque arm, BMR 1 inch lowering springs in the rear, Adj. panhard bar 12 bolt rear w/3.73 gears.
The guy I got the car from must of not had the torque arm adjusted when he put in the lowering springs. When my susp. guy put the angle finder on the rear it was out of whack and he had to adjust that also.

If your 51% on the nose your not going to need any weight in the trunk. Im sure you can get by with what you got right now, but the coil overs do make it very nice. Your limited with what you can adjust right now, but I don't like seeing the anti roll bar used for preload.
