Default Best LT1 Valvespring tool....for motor inc car- repl.

Just wondering which tool you guys like best for swapping out LT1 valvesprings with the motor in the car.

I've used the Crane tool for LS1's and it was sweet, but don't know if there is a similiar one for Lt1's?

If I am not mistaken you can use the same tool for LT1's. Instead of using the bolts that come with the tool, they also supply you with two nuts which I believe are to be used to slip the tool over the rocker arm studs and hold it down.

I just used the tool that you can get from AZ, worked fine, but if the LS1 does indeed work, go that way. Those things are sooo nice.

I used the tool from Autozone and it broke on the second spring.

I just bought the Crane tool and I love it!

My old one did that, damn thing blew apart lol, but when I took it back (lifetime warranty) the new one I got had a black hardened c-clip to hold it down, it worked fine. Not like the junk of a tool the first one was.

When my first one blew up, it shot the valve spring several feet into that are of the front bumper where you can never get stuff out, yeah I hated that thing lol.
