Arrow Rebalance motor after changing rod bolts?

Would I need to rebalance the motor if I replaced the stock rod bolts with better replacements?? Any cheap places to get a decent set?
Thanks

No you don't have to rebalance the motor. I ran Katech rod bolt's in my last motor and had good luck with them.

No, need for a rebalance.

Rod Bolts better than stock:
ARP = Available at a ton of places
Katech = Available through Katech

I prefer Katech as well for in motor swap. Just don't forget to remove the OEM ferrules and only do 1 bolt at a time (meaning do not remove the cap entirely from the rod, keep the cap seated as is at all times)

Yea ...they have been on backorder for about two years when my H/C/I went on or I would have done them at that time and maybe spin a little higher since I am still almost flat at 6500....

No, but you do need to RESIZE the big end of the rods when replacing rod bolts.

In theory, yes, but

That issue is still debatable with stock LS rods. Katech do not need that as they are exact duplicates of OEM but with higher tensile strength (200000psi IIRC)
Many have just repaced with ARP and had no immediate issues.

On my LS1 I swapped the Katech rodbolts in exactly as PREDATOR suggested above in post number 4 and had no issues spinning to 7200.

I've used both types of bolts without resize or rebalance without any issues numerous times. I would be more hesitant to do that on a non cracked cap design though. The cracked cap design of the rod should keep the bore dimension from changing the way a traditional rod would. IMO
