Default Running an 8.4 in the 1/8th

I have a lid, ls6 intake, long tubes, a cut out and a dyno tune. Does this time sound about right? I am on street tires launching at about 1500k .60ft is 2.0xx and mph is 86.

It's not bad, basically a 13 flat. Looked at one of your previous threads and saw it was an automatic, 2.73s or 3.23s? Stock stall, street tires, not much more you can do.

You have more than enough power to run in the 12s. That run could have well been a 12.9x but no way to know for sure. Better 60', better air, anything like that could easily push you into a definite 12 second zone. If you happened to get DRs+stall your times would drop dramatically.

Yea. I ran two 12.9s, which were 8.4 in the 1/8th. With the same mods as you minus the tune.

Your stock stall is killing you. I have the same problem, even with sticky tires I'm only cutting 2.0x 60' times. My car bogs with the M/T's on there, just not enough rpm off the line to get the car moving. Getting a stall would be your best bet, that will make a night and day difference.

Well our 02 WS6 which is a 6 spd. runs between 8.25 to 8.40's which I think runs pretty good. The 8.25 1/8 mile run was a 12.75. The 60 foot times are around high 1.80's.

The only mods on the car is a lid and K&N filter with Nitto's DR's with stock exhaust.

I am guessing my car is a freak for some reason. I am running consistently 12.9@108 all day long w/ a 2.0 60ft. All I have is P&P stock TB, gutted cats, egr and air delete, 3.23 gears, A4, and a tune....That is on street tires.....So I have no idea what going on with mine...
