Default LS6 intake on Silverado

Has anyone successfully installed an LS6 intake on a 5.3L Silverado? I have an 02 Sierra with a 5.3L and I wanted to install an LS6 intake and fuel rails etc. As far as the fan being in the way I will be installing electric fans from an 07 Silverado, I will also be installing a p&p tb and a cold air intake. Just wanted to see if anyone had some pics or info to help me out. Thanks. Aslo I will be doing a cam swap, headers, msd coils, msd wires, true duals etc. Just bolt on stuff. Please help me out if you have some info.

keep the truck intake, you wont benefit nothing from an LS6 intake, ask v8...

also stock coil packs are as good as MSD's...

Yeah I agree on the coil packs, I just like the way the MSD's look.

I am going for a better look under the hood of the truck. As far as performance... I have somethingelse in mind for it by the beginning of next year. But I want it too look as nice as it will be running. I am bored and I have the time. Thanks to everyone's responses.

Does anyone agree on the looks part?

your alternator is going to sit 5" higher then the intake, best thing to do is get the camaro setup for all pulleys and brackets, for the best look.

Ah! Very true... I didn't think about that... I will be on the look out for the front setup now! I have some parts from another build so I don't need alot of it. Great info! Thanks!
