Default L76 swap into 97 SS.

Doing an L76 swap into my 97 SS, and currently trying to figure out the fuel setup. I want to install an aftermarket FPR with braided lines from the factory hard lines to the rail. It is always recommended to install the FPR on the return side. In this case is it necessary to convert the fuel rail to a return system?

Thanks Merv, your harness conversion write-up is very usefull.

Most conversions use the 99+ vette filter/regulator. I’d like to use the standard –6AN braided lines and a regulator like Aeromotive 13109 or 13105. Have some doubts regarding the use of the regulator on the feed line. Using it on the return line is much more complicated and may require the use of aftermarket rails.

I never had a problem with the Regulator.. it went in very easily in my application.
