Whats a good cheap pump... how are the ones on ebay?

You have 2 choices. 1) Cheap. 2) Good.
Make your selection, and pay the price.
And understand, the factory wiring harness is marginal for the factory pump. When replacing the stock pump with a higher output unit, the factory harness is overwhelmed and must be upgraded.
I have a source for a replacement pump, but they are not a sponsor, so it requires a PM.

Granitelli kits works well, it includes a walbro 255lph pump. Costs about $140 from summit or your local speed shop.
