Default New Miata in Md

Hey guys im here on the boards looking for some parts. I have a 90 miata gonna be going ls1. My honest goal is first v8 miata in 10's. I was hoping to find a ls1 for sale on here with maybe a couple of problems. I actually need a motor for my engine repair class for my auto tech program. I figured since it is all apart i should just do a stroker kit to replace everything. If anyone has a motor set up for this let me know. Here are some pics.

yeah a ls6 or ls2 would be nice but ppl want too much money for them. Oh and for suspension i already got that worked out, adjustable coils.

its been a while but here is the update...i picked up a shortblock off the forum and it has been ripped apart and inspected by my tech friend Rick. It has a spun rod bearing and the crank needed to be machined. I got a used ls6 crank from Rick and now the block is at the machine shop getting ready for built bottom end. Pistons, rods, etc. Im gonna go with the TSP 2.5 LS6 heads but I want them milled to 58cc and a MS4 cam with it. Fast ported 92/95. Here is a pic of the motor, its a lil old...
