Default Pls advice me before i buy.

I searched and didn't get the answer that i was looking for:

I have C6 chrome wheels for my 95 Z28. I had these rims ordered for my camaro so they're NOT OEM. I was running 275 30 19 and now i'm wondering if i can get away with 305 30 19?

Have you or anyone you know ran/run this set up before?

Thanks.

Depends on the width of your rims. They need to be 10" wide min!
I believe 10.5 would be ideal.

Nope 275/30ZR19 is the best recommended tire for that sized wheel.

You could jump a whole 10 mm and go with a 285/30ZR19, but then the overall diamter of the tire is off . . . .

Yeah, I have 305s on 19x10s and even lost some width with this "slightly less than optimal wheel width". A 305/30-19 is supposed to be 12"-12.3" (on, I believe, an 11"), but on my 19x10s they are now only 11.7" wide.
You would be running an unnecessarily heavy tire without getting the entire benefit of the wider tread.
A 285 is a possible option, but even a 295 would be excessive on a 9.5".
