I've been on here for a few years, mainly because my bestfriend had a head/cam/intake/exhaust/nitrous 99 Trans Am, then got a 99 FRC Vette, so i've spent my fair share of time inside an LS1.
I have a 2001 Mazda MX-5 Miata that I am looking to have a V8 put into. I probably won't start buying parts for the swap until spring of 2010 due to getting married and finishing school. My goal is 300~ rwhp, on a built autocross/drift suspension setup.
I do a bit of autocrossing now, I have fun in the corners, but the 1.8 doesn't like straights. It feels like I'm driving a civic, haha.
