Default Gear Vs. Gear

Asked many times before but here it goes again. 3.73 or 4.10's with M6? Why? Is there a better chance of breaking the stock 10 bolt with one opposed to the other? What will I feel in seat of the pants difference between the two?

Why not go with 4.10's? I woudn't imagine they'd hinder you at all compared to the 3.73's.

I'm wondering the same thing. I have 4.10s right now but I don't like the noise. I have installed several sets of 3.73s and never had any noise so I am thinking of going to 3.73. I'm sure the 4.10s are set up right since I have set up several 3.73s and never had a sound.

4.10s get my vote.. My car felt like a monster after i put them in. My friend went from 3.42s to 3.73s and we couldn't even feel the difference

The higher the gear (the 4.10 in this case), the weaker it is and the more chance of breaking.. with that said, this has been debated 20932u432o432 times.. and i'm sure you can find some threads using the search in the appropriate section.
