Default 2009 4-door Cobalt SS/TC......track times!!!!

You wana see the meat of it it in the preview: 14.3 @ 103.5

What an awesome day!

80 degrees, no clouds......

The track was soooooo dead!
I was the 2nd car to tech. Probably less than 50 cars even after an hour of being open,
I could have ran 20 times but I went with 6.

Best run was my 1st.
Damn these cars are a BIT@H to launch!
No wonder its known as a roll car. I could have easily pulled many cars who got me today if we had a highway run......but I am not complaining, I am happy with it!

I sure shocked the poor GT who I had my best run with. As you can see he got out of the hole and I started to freight train..........look at the MPH at both intervals.

Best part was total reliability. Ran 14.3-14.4 each time and she never got hotter then 200!

Second best part is the lovely sound you are rewarded with when you nail the no-lift-shift..........pshhht

Anyway:

I am 100% stock!!!!

Lots of Challengers, Chargers, WrX;s, etc today!
The R/T's were runnin mid 13's while the SRT's were low 13's.

My buddy had the fastest street car there today with his EVO....ran a 12 @ 113.

I sooooooooooooooooo wish I had my Z but I had to see what the Cobalt could do.

if i could afford to do both i would. i would love to have that as a dd but instead i have a 1.9sohc saturn . when you get the chance can you post curb weight (car only) and a baseline run before you add anything?

hopefully in the next few yrs i would consider one of these after the depreciation kills them. im sure it could be easy to get this to a 300rwhp in what a 2800lb car? oh before i foget this is the 4dr right?

i can only afford one money pit right now

Nice, they seem to make a good amount more MPH than the older SC'd Cobalts. For the price, can't really beat the performance. My only gripe is that it's FWD.

Weighs about 3000 exactly.
Over 300 with just a tune and you could easily get one down a few pounds.

Yes, mine is a 4 door but there are coups....only making the 4door for a year so they will not be to easy to come by.

Very nice times for a first outing! Now it's gonna be hard to decide whether to take it back as is and try to get the 60' down, or mod it up and then take it back, lol.
