Default Will these 3.73's fit my car? *pics*

So a while back when my brother had his 02 z28 camaro A4 he bought some aftermarket gears. Originally he had 3.23's in it. So when the day came to install them, he took it to a mechanic. When he took the rear end apart he said that the gears do not fit.....

Well, about a year later, and these 3.73's are still in my house, unused so im thinking whether or not these would fit my 2002 t/a M6? Unfortunately i cant tell exact dimensions of those gears since im a complete newb when it comes to that but i do have pics:

3.73 gear:

camaro gear 3.23 i think:

Camaro gear on the left, 3.73 on the right:

3.73 gear:

camaro gear:

both of them, camaro gear on the left, 3.73 on the right:

Uhh... do you have the pinion gear?

If it's the same internal/external diameters and has same bolt hole patterns for the carrier, then yes...

If your brother had a 3.23 from the factory, then he has a 3 series carrier.. If those won't fit in his, then they are for a 2 series..

If your car has a 3.08 or lower in it from the factory, then that gear (2 series) will work in your rear (also 2 series).

Then yours is a 3 series too and they won't fit yours either.. when you go to order new ones, you need to make sure you buy the right series for it..

They should fit any 10 bolt rear that originally had a 3.08 gear ratio or numerically lower. This means that it would have had a 2 series carrier. My auto 1999 came with 2.73 gears, so they would fit on my differential carrier. It is usually easy to tell the difference, the 2 series replacement gears are significantly thicker to take up the difference in offset on the differential carrier.
