just do a set of headers and an OR Y. that will wake it up for sure. my setup is pacesetter headers ORY and magnaflow and it wakes the dead. and still has a muscley tone to it.

just cut the cat out and weld in a straight pipe. gutting a cat will make the exhaust rather turbulent and end up hurting you. magnaflows are quiet to begin with.

Yeah man ditch the cats and just have some pipes welded in their place. You will throw a code unless you have it tuned out though if that bothers you. .

Get some test pipes and start testing. Gutted cat is not the way to go.

Will it burn up the 02 sensors if the cats removed?

You just remove the rear o2s. Only reason they are there is for the cats, so you wouldn't need them if the cats are gone.

If you were to go LT's and off road Y it will be loud. If your going for loud then that would be a good route. I have read where no cats will decrease hp or torque(cant remember which and its not much) on a full exhaust.

False statement! Increasing exhaust flow by adding longtube headers/ ory will shift the power curve up in the rpm's, wich is exactly what lt1's need. Also my exhaust quieted down inside the car when I switched from bbk shorties to LT's.

You could just spend some money and get headers and ory pipe or just get a cutout before the muffler and even with cats still in place it will be agressive. thats what i had welded into my magnaflow catback before i put headers and ory on. it sounded good, but it sounds even better with no cats and longtubes.

Cut the Cats off. Also if you cut the cats off and remove the rear O2's, you need to get an O2 signal simulator from Jegs/Summit or the SES light will come on.

if you don't have cats, just tune the code out.
