LS6 347 or LS2 402 or LS3 418...take your pick..It will make stupid power on any of these...

My buddy has a c5 with a 402 and novi and he dynoed 850rwhp.

I would go for lsx 408ci or 436ci you will reach the 1000HP with good tune and good fuel system .
