I just got my rims in and need tires for them I just dont know what size will look good the rims are 18s and the guy told me to run 245/40/18 on the front and 275/35/18 on the rear I have seen a guy with the same car and rims run 275/35/18 on the front and 295/35/18 on the back. How wide are your rims? I've got 275/35/18 BFG KDW2's on the front, and 315/30/18 BFG Drag Radials on the back. I think the 315/30 is a little wide on my Camaro, but one of my friends have the same tire on his car and they are tucked in good. My car it sticks out just a tad bit, and my friend said he thinks the Trans Am's have a little more room than the Camaro's do. His car is probably lowered 2" and doesn't rub at all, he maybe had to do a little BFH mod to fit, but other than that just slapped them on. It pretty much depends on the offset and backspacing on how they fit on the car.

275/35/18 on all 4 with 18x9.5" rims. if i had a 18x10" rear rim i would have gone to a 295 but no bigger or else they stick out of the wheel well. 275 all around looks nice.

275/35/18 all around if they are all 9.5" rims, if the rears are 10.5" run 295/35/18
please do not run 245s on a 9.5" rim

I am running 18x10 TTII with 275/35 on the front and 295/35 on the rear. I did have a slight rub on the passenger side, but only when I had four adults in the car. I rolled the lips and nothing rubs now. On an 18x9, the same size tire will actually be slightly taller and narrower than on an 18x10, so you might not need to roll.

I've got 18x9.5 chrome C5 Z06 rims and I'm also running 275/35/18 all the way around. Looks good. I JUST bought General Excaim UHP tires from the TireRack last month for like $168 each and if you buy 4 they'll send you a $50 Visa gift card. They got GREAT reveiws, so I gave them a shot and I'm VERY happy with them so far!

I am running a 285 back tire but could have went with a 295. I don't think I would like the clearance of a 305 though. With the 285 it is a good thing for the adj panhard bar.
