Default shift kit or improver??? hmm

okay maybe somebody can help me out, im getting 373's proffesionally installed next week and i was looking at getting a shift kit or improver kit. i have the stock 10 bolt a stock trans with 402hp 381tq and a 2800 stall.

questions...

1. is this a good idea to do to a stock trans with that much power?

2.can this in any way help with the life of my trans?

3. what brand/setup would you guys go with?

4.how long will instalation time be about?

5.its gotta be good for what like a tenth in ET?

any anyweres to any of the above questions would be greatly appreciated, im tryin to figure this out asap cuz the cars goin in so i need to order it if you guys think its a good idea. thanks everyone
